Review by hotel critic
I recently returned to the Acacia for a family vacation, and it was just as welcoming as I remembered. Located conveniently between several charming cities, it served as an excellent base for our adventures. We arrived late after a long drive, and the staff made the check-in process a breeze, even offering us snacks to tide us over until morning. The breakfast was quite impressive, especially for those of us accustomed to the more standard fare. Options like oat and soy milk for my vegan family member were thoughtfully provided, which made us feel considered. The kids loved the large garden area; it was the perfect spot for them to unwind after our road trips. We appreciated the clean and spacious accommodations, which felt comforting and familiar, reminding me of home in Dublin. While the hotel is modest in size, it managed to create a lovely family atmosphere—ideal for connecting over shared experiences. With a supermarket nearby and several restaurants within walking distance, we were able to create our own little getaway. The Acacia was a charming choice for a family stay.
